SQL is used to communicate with relational database systems.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this tutorial, I will explain how to open a&nbsp;<strong>SQL file in Microsoft Windows operating system<\/strong>&nbsp;using two programs (a)&nbsp;<strong>MySQL Workbench 8.0 CE for Windows<\/strong>&nbsp;and (b)&nbsp;<strong>Windows Notepad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"mysql-workbench\">MySQL Workbench<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To open an\u00a0<strong>SQL file in MySQL workbench<\/strong>, open\u00a0<strong>Mysql Workbench<\/strong>. If you haven\u2019t already installed MySQL Workbench on your pc you can get it from here.\u00a0<strong>https:\/\/dev.mysql.com\/downloads\/workbench\/<\/strong>, you also need to\u00a0<strong>install Microsoft Visual C++ 2019<\/strong>\u00a0as a dependency for MySQL workbench which can be availed from here.\u00a0<strong>https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/cpp\/windows\/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img
