Follow these simple steps to set up OpenLiteSpeed on DirectAdmin<\/strong> and unleash its full potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1:<\/strong> Log in as ‘root<\/strong>‘ to your server using SSH. Use Putty or Xshell for a seamless connection.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Navigate to the ‘Custom Build<\/strong>‘ directory to initiate the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n

It will take a couple of minutes to complete the installation. You’ll receive login details for the OpenLiteSpeed console, which can be accessed at https:\/\/ip_address:7080\/login.php<\/strong><\/em><\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note: You’ll need to whitelist port 7080 in CFS Settings to access OpenLiteSpeed Dashboard with that URL but unfortunately, OPLS comes with “read-only<\/strong>” mode. Because of that, you wouldn’t be able to change anything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 7:<\/strong> Recompile PHP to utilize LiteSpeed (this step may take some time).<\/p>\n\n\n
Final Step:<\/strong> To verify that everything is running smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Log in to your DirectAdmin Dashboard<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Check the ‘Services<\/strong>‘ section on the Dashboard to ensure that ‘Litespeed<\/strong>‘ is marked as ‘running<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
